Firstly, I am very excited that my blog has finally launched! It took long enough, but it’s finally done! I hope that you all love it as much as I do!!
Secondly, Thank You to each of you who have been supporting me throughout the years, I appreciate all the likes, comments, subscriptions and overall just the love that I have received.
Growing a blog is not always easy, but I have such a great passion for it so the work seems like play to me! I hope that this change will bring a blessed new pathway for me and of course I will be taking you along with me on this journey.
This year has already been packed with so many amazing things that I will certainly share with you in time. I would love for you to see the beauty in life, the way that I choose to see it. Life may not always hand us a good day but how we choose to live it, is what truly matters.
With this said, I would like to show you the hamper that I received from TM Films! I am over the moon with this incredible hamper because King Arthur is one of my favourite stories of all time! I love the ancient time films and the fact that I watch so many of them with my dad. Watching the 2017 film, King Arthur- Legend of the Sword, it has also become one of my new favourite films of all time. You need to watch it and let me know if you feel the same.
From the incredible cast and crew, to the amazing graphical work done on this film, even the music selection and choreography was pretty flawless. Honestly Guy Richie did gooood!
With winter creeping swiftly upon us, the amazing goodies in this hamper is going to come in very handy! I couldn’t enjoy this hamper alone so I decided that I will be giving away two complete hampers with all the amazing merchandise to two of you!!!

I would love this hamper as I have been a lover of the Arthur legend since I can remember, it intruiges me and has its roots in honor , belief, persistence ,destiny. At first i was like what the heck does bonafide stand for? Why change the name from 80s jozy girl to this unknown, new word “Bonafide?”
So just like any other “google will know” moment, i searched for the definition. The words genuine, real, true, actual, sterling and so on popped up. I was taken aback by how appropriate it is for your blog. I read, nah… I am obsessed with your blog not only because it is you, beautiful soul Tazz writing it, but because its so real. what BONAFIDE means to me???
ill answer this in a few parts so here goes!
BONAFIDE the word itself , I mostly use this word when speaking about this blog,mentioning it to someone , or basically when I read the Insta name or tag out aloud, you knw we tend to do this as social bunnies but honestly its not a word that just gets said randomly ina conversation, unless most of youur day is spent ina legal environment.
The raw part of the word ,the definition itself , the deeper conscoiousious the word provides is what means the most to me and where it influences my life everyday ,be it ina person ,be it ina statement ,be it in religion, or be it in this blog, even has a role in what i choose to eat, basically its what my life is formed around.
Google Bonafide and the simple meanings ul get is “Genuine,Real”,but the synonyms is where it gets his depth, words like Actual, Authentic,True etc… like i sed these are the words I unknowingly come across everyday! when I greet a person, was It TRUE? , When I spoke to a stranger or friend ,when they needed help, was I GENUINE?, am I ACTUAL?.with all this misconceptions of Islam we see everyday in the media, are this sources AUTHENTIC? or the simple one is Mcdonalds REAL?…..How do I even get closure on my day if any of these questions are not asked, will I just be another lost puppet of the world, that follows blindly to lies ,misconception, deception. etc. If yes. ,then surely I will become one of those that lie,Misconcept and decieve which would make me “unbonafide”.
Thats enough of the deep side haha but Bonafide-Blog represents these words, Its a blog that contains AUTHENTIC posts, TRUE and ACTUAL Findings, and all of this is blogged by a GENUINE person! what we read is REAL! nothing made up or sucked out of a thumb with an intention to mislead fo some sort of crazy underworld benefit and this is where it means so much to me! its not here to create fashion trends or lifestyle tweaks, its basically informing and assisting you, how to fit in this world by just being yourself!

One does not simply figure out one’s purpose in life that easily. What 80’s Jozi Girl taught me is that you first have to figure out your passion in order to find your purpose, hence, BONAFIDE.
To be honest I didnt think the word ‘bonafide’ even existed before this blog, (knowing Tazz Adams she’ll probably have made up the word using her magical unicorn brain) ,when ironically it literally means real or genuine. To me, bonafide signifies what’s pure in this world without intention to decieve. This means a lot to me as it offers a bright, honest and hopeful future for those who are going through difficulties as well as a reminder to those who have it all to be grateful for and modest.
I dont think Bonafide gives as much meaning to Tazz herself as she gives to the word.
Hamper tiiiiiime!!! Its King Authur man,legend. Period. By far one of my favorite movies that I’ve seen thus far and would love this hamper because each item would serve as a reminder of the amazing memories I have of watching it for the first time as if I can relive the moment over and over. I honestly didn’t know the meaning of Bonafide before your blog, which is quite embarrassing since I’m studying law lol. When I googled the word , I saw there are so many synonyms for this word , but the one that best describes this blog is Bonafide. This is because words such as real and unadulterated doesn’t do this blog justice. Bonafide in terms of this blog means keeping it 100 lol. This blog is undeniably RAW. I didn’t know what the meaning was until your blog and it makes so much sense.
To me, Bonafide means to truly, authentically and unapologetically be yourself,
To do things for yourself and not for the applause from others,
To be comfortable with who you are and no matter how many flaws you may have, you are strong enough to embrace them in your most perfect little way possible,
To do things for your own happiness and your own personal goals no matter how much competition you may think you have,
To be encouraged not to hide behind a fake image the world wants you to be or by what others may perceive you as, but to be who you want to be and to let go and enjoy your favourite aspects of life by being who you always knew you could be despite how much criticism there is out there you have to face.
