I have always wanted to get the feel of snail gel because in all honesty, the thought of putting snail anything on my face was definitely a no-go.

I thought about the texture and smell… and it sort of freaked me out. Also there are so many products and adverts talking about how everything works so amazingly, people would never need to go for cosmetic surgery, but what really works the way advertisers say?!

When I received this beautiful package in the mail, I was very excited. I immediately opened the snail gel, and smelt it, touched it and proceeded to rubbing the product on my hands.

I have to say, initially the Snail Gel smelt really soft and sweet, and then as I rubbed it onto my hand the smell somewhat changed. It is a little difficult to pin point the smell as I don’t go into the garden picking up snails are smelling them. But you know the smell you get when you take your finger and rub your inner arm quickly for a few seconds? Well it kinda has that “slightly burnt” smell. It is not something that would bother me if the product actually does what it says.

I haven’t tried the product long enough to truly say whether it works or not, but my skin felt smooth and tingled a little bit when I put on a little amount. Also had the feeling of being ever so slightly “pulled”.
