RIMMEL LONDON- MAGNIFEYES Box

I received my very first makeup box from Rimmel London “Magnifeyes” some time ago, and it’s one of the prettiest press kits I have ever received.

The packaging is so chic and durable. Bright orange box and a very James Bond looking case that looked as though I was either packing some heat or I was carrying a load of moola!!

I snap chatted my unboxing and I just couldn’t wait to see what was inside. I was not disappointed when I opened the case…

There were nine individually cased, beautiful, shimmering eye shadow shades, a mascara and a USB device shaped in the Rimmel Signature Crown.

I immediately swatched each of the colors, my favorite one is SuperStar Sparkle because I mean, it was like unicorn highlighter! I also like the darkest color Show Off/ Black Fender because it is perfect for a night out, saving the city in true Bond Girl style.

With some products, the first swatches always has the most amazing texture, color and finish of any product, and then somehow it fades a little the following time you want to use it. . With this Rimmel Magnifeyes, the colors are still incredibly beautiful and as intense as when I first swatched them.

I definitely think these products are perfect to magnify your eyes, as the name says. I also use some of these colors as highlighters and apply them to the very top of my cheeks.

I have used every one of these colors to events out at night, for that extra sparkle and because of the light-weight textures, it was perfect for that slightly more glammed up daytime looks.

I still maintain that the eyes are the doorways to our souls, so it is always a good idea to highlight them, to look fresh and bright eyed. Adding a little bit of white on the inner corners of your eye, especially when you’re tired, gives your eyes that “awake” look without trying too hard, the color that I use when I really need to fake being well rested is the pearly white shade, Q-JUMP because it just works so great!

I have also been mixing the colors with some slightly more matte finish shadows and having these beautiful shimmering colors on the top or just on the center part of the eyelid, creating somewhat of a smokey eye.

I am having so much fun with this box, the possible looks seem somewhat endless.
