Dein Perry’s TAP DOGS – Monte Casino – Johannesburg

Had the pleasure of attending the opening night of TAP DOGS, in Johannesburg and it quite frankly blew my mind! I’ve always had an interest in the idea of tapping and creating music with just the “SOUL’s” of our shoes, but I did not expect the experience to be quite so mind-blowing!

I watch movies where these choreographers create music and melodies from general sounds in the city but this show has changed my idea of creating! The way a handful of guys completely transformed the stage and set, effortlessly. The sound was crystal clear, you could hear every tap, and click, beat, and OMG, the surprise elements of the show will certainly keep you glued to the stage throughout the performance.
