I saw Ed Sheeran LIVE

It’s hard to explain how over-joyed I was when I found out that Ed Sheeran was going to be performing in Johannesburg, South Africa. I fell in love with his music when I heard tracks like A-team and Lego House and it simply got better from then on.

I listened to him throughout the years and I’m still a huge fan, if not bigger than I’ve ever been. He is a one man band that is all you never knew you needed!

When the tickets opened, I immediately went online, in order to purchase tickets, but it was sold out! I tried endlessly but failed! I cannot express enough how much I’ve tried to get tickets, but who would possibly sell the best tickets of the year!

After fully sulking for a couple days, if not weeks, I finally got over the fact that I will not be going to Ed Sheeran’s concert! Then they announced that Passenger will be his opening act!!! WTF!

I’m sorry for the profanity but that just about set me over the edge! I LOVE PASSENGER! Also listened to him since Let It GO! And it wasn’t going to be easy for me to let go of the fact that I would also be missing him!

And then… I died.

My PR called me and said she had an extra ticket for me! I didn’t care how and didn’t care that I was going to be alone, but I would have tickets to Ed Freaking Sheeran!!! I was not only over the moon but I was ecstatic! Not sure if you can tell how fast I’m typing this because I cannot even contain my excitement, but I have never received better news!

But then, to top it off, a day or so later, she called me and offered me another ticket! Oh! Did I even mention that it was Front Zone!!! I had officially passed away at that point! But before the burial, I managed to snap some photos…
