0 For those that have been around for a while, the wait is finally over. My dream of building a mobile app and being able to help millions of people around the world to not only explore the incredible activities out there but to have the tool to change their lives, right in the palm of their hands, has been a dream come true. I have worked on this app for 5 years and there have been numerous moving parts, but to finally see the app on the PlayStore is so surreal.
We are focused on getting the iOS version out there as soon as possible for all our Apple device users (including ourselves), and it will be ready very soon! But for right now, you don’t have to wait, ALL users are able to register and start your journey on the website https://thedutylist.com/

It is a bucket list app that I designed way back in 2021, a place to get customers in touch with verified service providers (vendors) to book activities and build a list of things you want to do before you…Kick the Bucket!
Customers are able to do the following on the app as of April 2026:
- Register as a Customer
- Explore activities around you
- Create your Duty List
- Add wishes to your account
- Use AI Technology to help break down big goals into smaller, more manageable steps (myJourney feature)
- Invite friends to join you on your activities (GoTogether feature)
- Tick off items that you complete
- Start earning rewards for activities completed
- Choose to filter out any non-halaal/ halaal-friendly options in your city
Service Providers (Vendors) can:
- Register multiple businesses (Vendor/ Service Providers)
- Verify their business
- Create activity cards that customers can then book
- Add images to your cards
- Categories activities in accordance with Shariah Law
- Monitor activities
- Approve/ Decline bookings
- Add Navigation routes to your locations
- Talk to your customers
And so much more to explore on the app, with changes happening frequently and efficiently with your best interest at heart!
These are key milestones in the growing of the platform and because the application is brand new, we are taking baby-steps to sharing this with a select few vendors and customers, but we want you to go ahead and try it out, send feedback and you could win very special getaway prizes coming very soon! As soon as we start onboarding vendors, there will be prizes, discounts and incredible bucket-list-worthy announcements coming your way and we are excited and truly grateful to FINALLY have our service providers onboard to create their activity cards and open doors to the offerings that await our customers.
