My Top 5 Beauty Looks for 2017
Festive Looks to Try
Red’s are always a favourite during the festive months, and with the incredible range of red’s and products, everybody can find a look that will work for them.
Here are my top 5 looks for this season
Classic winged-eye and bright red lips
- Start with a flawless matte face and subtle blush on the apples of your cheeks.
- Using a highlighter pencil or ice-white eye shadow all over the lid and drag the colour into the corners of your eyes as well.
- Using a liquid eye-liner, draw in your cat-eye
- Using a black or dark eye shadow, smoke the top lids only on the ends and bring the same shadow under your eye
- Add 2-3 coats of mascara and possibly some false eye-lashes
- Add lip primer and your favourite red lip stick.
Smokey eyes and nude lips
- Start with flawless foundation, add highlighting and contouring to the high points of your face, keeping everything else pretty matte.
- Concealer!
- Add golden brown eye shadow to your top lids and smoke around the edges with black.
- Add a drammatic amount of black under eye and two coats of mascara
- Add some nude lipstick
Mermaid blues and pink
- Start off with flawless foundation and matte finish blush in a peachy warm tone
- Add concealer under the eyes and high points of the face
- Add some gentle highlighting and contouring
- For Eyes:
- Use a lavender eye shadow over the entire lid
- Using a darker shade of purple, concentrate the colour around the outter edges of the eye
- Add a beautiful ocean blue in the centre of the lids and if you like, add a little bit of a green-turquoise around the blue
- BLEND!
- Bring some of the blue under the eye
- Add a coat of mascara
- Finish off with a beauty Pink matte lipstick
Emerald green eye makeup with nude/ matte red lips
- Flawless foundation routine is essential
- Deep contouring would also look amazing.
- For the Eyes:
- Add a warm brown eye shadow to the entire lid
- Take a golden/ copper shade and blend with brown, concentrating on the edges
- Add a champagne, icy gold to the inner corners of the eyes
- Add the Emerald green to the center of the lids and bring this colour underneath the eyes as well. and BLEND.
- Line the waterline with jet-black
- Two coats of mascara
- This dramatic emerald green eyes are a great look to go with a bright lip or a nude lip
Natural Dewy Makeup
- Start with flawless Foundation
- Use concealer to hide any imperfections
- Highlight and contour – adding significant hightlighting
- Use a little of the contour colour mixed with a warm bronzer as blush for the cheeks,
- Add a finishing mist
- For the Eyes:
- Use the same contour colour on the eyes and bring the colour under the eyes as well
- Add a copper/ bronze on the centre and outter lids and a champagne highlight on the inner corners.
- Add a coat of mascara
- Finish off with nude lipstick
