Interviewing Musician- Majozi
With hits like FIRE and DARLING, Majozi has become one of South Africa’s favourites, especially at music festivals like Parklife in Johannesburg to fun in the sun at Oktober Fest in Stellenbosch.
Nhlanhla Majozi is one of my favourite artists from the Durban shores. He has a very classic style, mostly wears black and a hat that has become somewhat of his signature accessory. Not only does he have the cool vibey look down to a tee…literally! But he is one of the coolest guys to just hang out with.
He is incredibly humble and down to Earth. He speaks passionately about his beliefs and his love for having the belief. He speaks ever so passionately about his love for music like there was nothing else in the world.
There is something about witnessing somebody take their gift and exploring it in such a beautiful way, so free and easy! I feel inspired to go out and explore my own gifts.
When it comes to he’s super smooth voice, it is not something I should tell you about… it is an experience to be felt by listening to him yourself. Allow your mind to escape, while he strums away on his guitar.
A lot of people in the industry feel the need to act a certain way because they have become better known, with Majozi, I think that he would be exactly as he is right now, even if he’d been following a different career. That faith that he carries with him will always feed his humility and keep him grounded, and that is a beautiful thing.
I look forward to seeing Majozi living out his potential in the future. There is no way he will not make it. Do yourself a favour and go to www.majozi.co.za and check out his music videos etc.
He has a really cool page and there is a complete gig guide on there as well, so you know where to catch him performing next.
Also, I had the pleasure of hanging out with him again, some time ago, and I simply cannot get enough!
Here is my interview with him, incase you missed it.
