Interviewing Musician – Lakota Silva

We decided to meet up with the beautiful Lakota Silva at Kalk Bay. There were some really cute coffee shops and ended up at a, like the name says, a “Lekker” cafe right by the beach. We were running a little late because our Uber hadn’t heard about the little place.

We later saw Lakota sitting in the window, looking chilled as ever. She greeted us with a huge smile and a warm hug which immediately settled our anxiety of getting there late. We ordered some cappuccinos and just sat there for about 20 minutes chatting.

There were a group of ladies having a little bit of a brunch and after some time, one of the ladies walked up to Lakota and asked her to take a picture OF them! Not WITH them… she politely got up and snapped a few pictures. I cannot express enough how completely welcoming she was with them… if they only knew that this little fire-cracker starlet just took their picture! She is like the real-life Hannah Montana because on one side she is killing on stage, and on the other hand she is an au pair! The whole “get a girl that can do both” never looked so easy!

Lakota is one of the most fun and down to earth people I’ve ever met. She has a hidden bada$$ persona hidden in a perfect little bombshell body! Not many people know just how talented she is! She has some major achievements behind her name and a loads more opportunities awaiting her! One of the hugest gigs was being one on the opening acts for Justin Bieber! She was also asked to open up for Nicki Minaj but she was already booked for another huge gig!

She is one of those stars that just stands out from the crowd, when it comes to her cool fashion sense and her music style, she even holds her own with her rap game!

At the end of our interview, Lakota insisted on driving us home and not allowing us to take another Uber.

I mean who does that?! Huge kudos to her! We jammed to JB in the car for 30 minutes still chatting away!
