South African Fashion Week – Day 2 #SAFW #SS17

DAY TWO

Okay! Today I am not too stressed out! Well, not really stressed out, just more settled. I ended up getting to The Park early again, but this time around, I have two shows, so there will be less sitting around in the lounge.

Also, today I get to see more than just the gorgeous resort clothing that I saw the night before.

I definitely have some favourites because there were some beautiful flowy dresses that I simply couldn’t take my eyes off. The way the dresses effortlessly flew across the runaway with the perfect little models floating along the runway with these amazing garments draped upon them.

I sat on the opposite side of the runaway, on day two, in the front row again so I could clearly see the models from head to toe. Earlier in the evening I had a peep at the one show sitting in one of the top rows and I have to say, even though the auditorium is not huge, everyone had a pretty good seat. The front row is certainly the best, because when I sat further up, I missed out on some of the cool and funky shoes and the detail on the garments!

I feel very humbled to have had a front row experience! Managed to get some really great shots of all the models, and of course some terrifying RBF shots of myself from the Instagram shots I found under the #SAFW hashtag.

It was really cool looking for myself in the other fashionista’s pages on Instagram.

I decided on being a little funkier with my look on Day Two:

I threw on some black liquid leggings and a black chiffon high-low dress, paired this with electric blue wedge-heel shoes!

Simple accessories, added an electric-shimmering blue belt and little wrecking ball earrings in off-black.

I kept it pretty simple with my makeup too, had a subtle cat-eye and added a pop of colour with a rich purple lip tint by Rimmel London.

I made two little buns with my hair, and felt like a kickass little Chung Li.

Had so much fun meeting a ton of very cool people, seeing the incredible fashion and of course snapping some cool pictures!
