Rimmel London LIPS liquers that are SLAYING my make-up game lately
I have always been a fan of Rimmel London products but I’ve reviewed a bunch of their products that I am loving lately!
Here is what I’ve added to my holy grail product list #must-haves
Provocalips 16HR Kiss Proof Lip Colour – Matte Shades
One thing I cannot stand about wearing a lipstick, is the fact that it transfers on absolutely everything it meets, whether it is drinking something and leaving a lip stain on my glass/ cup/straw… Or whether I try on a t-shirt and staining it with lipstick! EEK! It is the worst!
With these amazing Kiss Proof Lip Colours, this never happens! It provides a beautifully smooth, non-sticky and light-weight finish that does not transfer at all! I am simply loving these for when I attend events or at work where I know I am going to need a product that is not only going to last but also one that does not transfer.
I prefer matte lips in general but you must be so careful that it does not become dry or flaky.
At work, when I am eating, drinking and moving around I want a lip colour that will not need a lot of attention or touch-ups and this is the perfect combination of all the things I love.
It’s difficult to choose a favourite shade because they have so many to choose from, but my favourite ones right now are:
- Not Guilty – an amazing deep crimson colour
- I’ve come to realize that my signature look is red lips because I tend to wear it most often, but I love experimenting with colour. I wear red when I’m in that fiery/ sultry vibe and ready to paint the town… Red.
- Make Your Move – a beautiful blush nude
- I have always struggled to find a nude lipstick that doesn’t make me look hungry or sick because of my olive/ tan skin. This may look like a pink or blush colour on people who are more fair in complexion but it is the perfect shade of nude that I have been looking for. It provides just the perfect hint of colour and this has become one of the essentials when I want my lips to be a little more lowkey. I usually wear this with a slightly heavier eye makeup look for that perfect balance.
Let me know of you would like to see a makeup look using these!
